Making art has always been important to me. From a very young age, I appreciated the aesthetics of things in my environment, from the textures of old barn wood and stone walls to the vibrant colors of objects in my home that my parents collected during their travels. I loved to draw, paint, color, collage - and still do. I was thrilled with the opportunity to major in art in college with an emphasis in graphic design. As an adult, design quickly became my main form of art-making and I try to do something creative outside of my day job every day.
